Courtyards and Gardens were improved with aviaries, fountains and marble or bronze sculptures that poured water into pools and watercourses. Even modest houses had a little garden that were visually expanded by painting plants on the walls, placing wild animals’ sculptures as well as portraits of Greek thinkers.
